HWC Announces New President, Terry Baker
Firm’s current president, Ed Jolliffe, named chairman of the board and CEO
Terry Baker has been named president of HWC, effective immediately. Baker joined HWC Engineering in 2010 and previously served as HWC’s executive vice president.
Ed Jolliffe will take on a new role as chairman of the board and chief executive officer (CEO). Jolliffe joined HWC Engineering in 2009 and previously served as HWC’s president.
Baker and Jolliffe have been majority owners of HWC since they led a management group who acquired the company in 2013. Under their leadership, the firm has grown from 50 to more than 100 full-time employees in five offices across the state. Annual service revenue is expected to top $18 million in 2018.
“This is an exciting time for HWC. I am excited and humbled to take on this role,” said Baker. “Everything we do is predicated on creating opportunities for our talented employees to grow and to provide outstanding professional service to our clients. I look forward to helping serve and sustain our long-term efforts to do both.”
“Terry is an experienced and capable leader with deep expertise in the engineering industry,” Jolliffe said. “His contributions and dedication to HWC, our employees and our customers have been immeasurable. I look forward to continuing our long relationship from my seat on the board.”
This is the latest exciting news for HWC. In recent years, the firm has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for three consecutive years; opened two additional offices around the state; signed the largest infrastructure design contract in the firm’s 25 year history; and is annually ranked by the IBJ as one of the state’s Largest Engineering Companies.
