Fisher Street and Rickey Road New Traffic Signals and Intersection Improvements City of Monticello, Indiana
This project served to minimize the number of accidents that occur at the intersection and to improve traffic flow through the intersection.		Project Highlights: Project Cost - $890,000 Addition of traffic signal with left turn lanes at each leg of the intersection Funded through FHWA’s Hazard Elimination System program Sixth Street is access corridor to Indiana Beach Amusement Park/Resort Construction completed in 2007 Design incorporated future multipurpose trail that will provide access to Indiana Beach visitors with City owned parks
