CSO Long Term Control Plan Program Management

HWC is working closely with the City staff, wastewater utility, and multiple consultants on this on-going project to implement the recommendations in the City’s CSO Long Term Control Plan. As Program Manager of the Long Term Control Plan, initially completed in 2002, HWC is responsible for revising the original plan and report documents to meet current regulatory requirements and maintaining schedules for all plan and project elements. HWC will also be responsible for management of planning, design and construction of all projects included in the City’s LTCP.  

Project Highlights:

  • Project Cost - $48 million (sum of all recommended projects in the original LTCP and currently being managed by HWC; revised total project requirements and cost being developed in updated plan)
  • Management of the activities required to implement the improvements as outlined in the original and revised CSO Long Term Control Plan
  • Coordination of special consultants performing detailed studies or designs of project elements
  • Regulatory responses and approvals
  • Coordination with the City’s financial advisor
  • Preparing bidding documents and complete bidding services
  • Providing full-time construction observation services
  • Schedule and financial tracking
