Cultural Tourism Conference

The 2008 Indiana Cultural Tourism Conference was held in French Lick, Indiana on May 4 and 5. David Roth and Cory Whitesell of HWC's Sustainable Solutions Group provided a tour of French Lick's Town Center located outside the French Lick Springs Resort and Casino.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss issues related to public relations, integrated marketing strategies, development and planning of cultural tourism. The conference brought together around 150 cultural tourism and hospitality specialists, political decision makers, travel professionals, academics, and expert consultants to provide a forum for exchange of ideas, to build networks, and to discuss trends and future development in Indiana cultural tourism.
