HWC Celebrates Groundbreaking in Hammond, Indiana

HWC recently joined the mayor of Hammond, Thomas McDermott Jr., to break ground on Edison park. The $1.8 million Edison Park Project is the first of many park projects in Hammond.

HWC is working with the city to provide construction document development, bidding assistance and construction administration services associated with the neighborhood park project.

The park will feature a playground with rope climbers, agility course equipment, inclusive play features, a slide and swings. The park will also include porch swings, soccer courts, a skating area, an open recreation field, plaza space, a shade structure, signage, site furnishings, landscaping, and decorative site lighting.
