HWC Hires Two Indiana Mayors for Community Business Development

INDIANAPOLIS (December 16th, 2019) – HWC Engineering today announced Mayor Shannon Kohl and Mayor Craig Luedeman will be

joining HWC as business development managers, effective January 6, 2020.

Mayors Kohl and Luedeman bring extensive knowledge and experience in municipal government, which further strengthens HWC’s position as a key partner in Indiana’s most successful communities. Their expertise allows HWC to continue empowering Indiana’s government leaders by giving them the tools, resources and first-hand knowledge, they need to ensure Hoosier communities grow and prosper.

About Mayor Shannon Kohl

Mayor Shannon Kohl served as mayor of Martinsville for four years. As mayor, she spearheaded Martinsville’s downtown revitalization, positioned Martinsville to capitalize on I-69, brought nearly $12 million in grant money to the city, strengthened Martinsville’s neighborhoods, strategically targeted and reduced crime and will be leaving a legacy of financial responsibility and sustainability.
Before serving as mayor, Kohl was a member of the Martinsville City Council, served on the City Plan Commission and worked as a real estate broker.

About Mayor Craig Luedeman

Mayor Craig Luedeman served as mayor of Seymour for 12 years. As mayor, he has brought nearly $40 million in grant money to Seymour, spurred $1.1 billion in economic development investment, forged international relationships and developed Seymour’s neighborhoods. In addition to serving as mayor, Luedeman also serves as a Seymour Chamber member, United Way Government Representative for Drive Team, and a member of the Indiana Assessors Association.
