SR 129 Trail

HWC led the design and engineering for the extension of the Community Trail along SR 129 in Batesville, Indiana. Careful attention was paid to maintaining the structural integrity of existing trees by adjusting the trail alignment to avoid the drip line of existing canopy as much as possible. HWC provided survey, permitting, utility coordination, trail design, bidding, and construction administration services. Easement preparation services were also provided. The project was funded by a combination of READI and local funds.
