Little League Central Regional Headquarters
Partnering with Odle McGuire Shook and Little League International, HWC completed the design and construction of a Little League Regional Headquarters in Whitestown, Indiana. This new facility hosts Little League Baseball Great Lakes and Midwest Region tournaments and Little League Softball Central Region tournaments.
Located between I-65 and Indianapolis Boulevard, the project included site design, building design (administration building, restrooms, concessions, and shade pavilion), field details and specifications, field soil specifications, grading and subsurface drainage, landscape, signage, lighting, and utilities. Unique elements which includes a “Walk of Champions” and central plaza area.
The master plan for the project included a total of 135 acres, which the Town acquired. It is home to new baseball and softball fields, office facilities, and potential for future growth of an ice arena, aquatic center, and amphitheater.

Dirtbuster Carwash
HWC provided the design for The Dirtbuster Carwash in Whitestown, Indiana. The Dirtbuster Carwash is a tunnel style carwash that was built to provide an automatic wash for vehicles. The site also has a self-serve vacuum station for cleaning vehicle interiors. The site was subdivided from a larger parcel and needed extensions for sanitary and storm sewers.

Witham Hospital
HWC Engineering provided civil engineering design services for the expansion of Witham Hospital.
The expansion included a four-story structural steel building, relocated utilities, and revised access for the site. The project required modifications to several areas of the campus. The existing detention pond in front of the hospital was modified to allow for expansion and additional parking. The existing detention pond north of the site was expanded to account for the new drainage analysis.
A new parking lot was added to the east side of the building, and an expansion of the southwest parking lot added more parking for the existing facilities. The building expansion was in the area of an existing parking lot and required modifications to sanitary sewers, storm sewers, waterlines, electrical lines, and parking lot lighting. The expansion also added a new patient loading area and sidewalks for access around the new building.

Revel and Underwood
HWC provided engineering and design services of four separate multi-tenant retail buildings along the main corridor, Whitestown Parkway, in Whitestown, Indiana. These buildings are located in the Anson development. The four buildings range in size from 5,400 square feet to 12,000 square feet, totaling 35,000 square feet added to the community.

Shoppes at Whitestown
The Shoppes at Whitestown is a retail/commercial center, located 33-acres near I-65 between Central Boulevard and Perry Worth Road. The developer is RealtyLink Development from Greenville, South Carolina. The project includes two buildings – one 164,520 square feet and the other 103,020 square feet – that houses 19 total storefronts ranging between 2,500 and 55,000 square feet. HWC completed preliminary engineering (with Primary Plat), final engineering design for completion of construction plans, as well as worked with the Town of Whitestown on a utility relocation project for the site. Initial construction cost for the project is estimated at $50 million.
